All students must complete the training program. To be certified a student may miss no more than three hours in total of each module of the training, this includes both accumulated tardiness and other circumstances and or emergencies.
To compensate for hours missed the student must complete reading the course material and attend a refresher version of the course, or a private session with an approved graduate of the course to cover the materials missed.  If more 3 hours are missed then the student will not get their certification of completion, and they must make it up when the course is running next, delaying their graduation.

Students are required to read a minimum of two books on topics relevant to the course from the bibliography provided. Suggestions of books not included in the bibliography are welcome. Students must write a short report on each book, not on the contents but on what you personally learned, felt, experienced.

Students will form independent study groups to practice techniques in three positions; as a client, therapist, and observer. Each student when observing a student-therapist doing a session, must fill out an Observation Report, as they witness each other do therapy.  In total you are required to fill out 7 observer reports for specific techniques.  This is to help the student practice in between sessions, and learn to evaluate a session and see the overview of the therapeutic process.

OPTION 2: Students participate in independent study groups to practice techniques in three roles:

• Therapist
• Client
• Observer

Each student must complete seven structured observation reports while observing fellow students conduct sessions.

This strengthens clinical awareness, therapeutic observation skills, and session evaluation.

Students must receive a minimum of five personal, private sessions from a qualified hypnotherapist. A qualified therapist list will be provided. This is to help the student to both work with and heal their own personal issues and to have the personal feeling and experience of being a client with this method. The cost of the sessions is in addition to the basic training fee. The personal therapy process must be started within the first three modules of the training.

Before the end of the first year students must write a minimum 2 full paged report on their own journey as a client of this method. The purpose is for the student to prepare themselves for the training by exploring their own past.

Students must do a minimum of six cases as a intern hypnotherapist with six clients who are not students. These sessions need to be in a professional setting, and follow the protocol of this training.  The sessions will follow a typical case that a client presents, right from the case receiving to the therapeutic interventions, and the future pacing.  A session will be considered complete when the client shows a shift.  Every sessions must be documented so that we can clearly see what happened in each session, what interventions were used, what happened in the sessions, and the student-therapist’s personal evaluation of the session.  All these sessions must be in addition to the scheduled training program practicums. These clients will be the basis for the case presentations.   Every session must be written, and one case will be presented in an audio format where every session is recorded.

Students must give a case presentation, meeting the requirements, ‘Guidelines for Preparing a Case Presentations’ provided in this manual. The case they present must be with a client who is not presently a student in the training. The client must have received at least six sessions from the student-therapist to qualify as the subject for case presentation. There must be complete confidentiality for the client. The client must agree to an anonymous presentation of their case to the class and supervisors. Before presentation of the case history, the therapist must have a signed agreement from the client. The therapist keeps this with the private, client records.

One written examination about the course contents administered after all other reports are submitted.
Therapy is an intense, transforming experience that is subjective and experiential. lt is learning to be with the flow of the process. Therefore, there is no rote memorization. The training is based on a pass/fail system. When the course requirements are completed, they have passed the exam with over 80%, and the ability to do therapy using this method is demonstrated, then the student passes the course and certification is granted.

Academic Progress

A purpose of the training is to help students learn, heal and grow. If a student feels there is a problem during the training or has a problem with another student, then please communicate the problem with the teacher so assistance or resolution is possible. If a student is having difficulties with the training program, all effort will be made on the part of the teachers and staff to assist the student in any way possible. If the teacher observes a problem it will be discussed with the student. The approach is to be as open minded and understanding as possible and at the same time resolve any difficulties mutually. If resolution is not possible then the teacher has the final say of whether or not the student may complete the training or whether or not the student is allowed to graduate from the training. When circumstances prevent a student from completing the training, the student has the option to terminate their enrollment (see cancellation policy) or to seek a leave of absence. Without additional charge the student can stop the training in the current year and join the next year training at the point where they took the leave of absence.

Halfway the course, if either the teacher or the student in question may conclude that continuation of the course is not useful. During the course, the teacher and supervisors watch the criteria mentioned under admission. We also consider if students take their own experiences and that of fellow-students seriously.
