Full participation is required to qualify for certification.
Students may miss no more than three hours per module (including accumulated lateness). Missed hours must be made up through:

• Attendance at a refresher training, or
• Completion of a private review session with an approved graduate

If more than three hours are missed in a module, that module must be retaken at the next available intake before certification can be granted.

Students must read a minimum of two approved books related to hypnosis, NLP, or regression therapy, or therapeutic practice.

For each book, students complete a form reflecting key learnings, personal insights, and how the material deepened understanding of therapeutic work. This requirement supports integration and professional development.

Students participate in independent study groups to practice techniques in three roles:

• Therapist
• Client
• Observer

Each student must complete seven structured observation reports while observing fellow students conduct sessions.

This strengthens clinical awareness, therapeutic observation skills, and session evaluation.

Students must complete a minimum of five private sessions with a qualified hypnotherapist from the approved referral list.

This ensures students experience the method personally, work through their own material, and understand the therapeutic process from the client’s perspective

Before the end of the first year, students must submit a written reflection (minimum two pages) describing their personal experience as a client and their growth journey throughout the training.

Students must complete five full case studies as an intern hypnotherapist with five clients who are not students in the training.

These sessions must take place in a professional setting and follow the structured model taught throughout the program. Each case should reflect a typical client journey from initial intake and assessment through intervention, integration and future pacing.

A case is considered complete when the client demonstrates a measurable shift, as reported from the client’s own perception and experience.

Across the five cases, students must demonstrate skill in using the techniques taught in the training. Each case must be fully documented. Documentation must clearly show:

• How the client presented and what you understood about their core issue
• How you communicated with the client and built rapport
• Why you selected the specific techniques used
• How the interventions were structured
• The outcome from the client’s perspective
• Your professional evaluation of the session, including what worked well and what you would refine

One of the five cases must be submitted in audio-recorded format (all sessions recorded) and will serve as the formal case review for certification assessment.

Upon successful completion of all requirements, graduates receive:

• A Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification from All About You
• An NLP Practitioner Certification through SNLP

Together, these form the program’s Dual Certification in NLP and Clinical Hypnotherapy.

Students who wish to apply for additional international recognition may choose to pursue certification through:

• IACT (International Association of Counselors & Therapists)
• IMDHA (International Medical & Dental Hypnotherapy Association)

These certifications are optional and require additional membership applications, documentation and assessment in accordance with each organisation’s standards. Students are required to complete a written examination covering course content and application. Certification is awarded on a pass/fail basis. Students must achieve a minimum 80% passing standard.
